Radiant Skin Comes From A Healthy Skin Care Routine

14:30 - By Lucy Jones

Taking care of your skin is just like brushing your teeth every day. You need to keep your skin in good shape so as not to look old before your time. Here are a few tips to seriously think about and include into your daily skin care routine.

Limiting the amount of stress you're under can go a long way toward having healthy radiant skin. Stress is one of the most common causes of early wrinkles. Not only that, but being under a lot of stress can increase the amount of oils your skin puts out, making your face look oily. The increased level of oils on your skin will also increase the amount of acne you have.

If you feel you must absolutely maintain a tan, seriously consider synthetic alternatives. Using bronzing creams are much better for your skin in the long run. Don't be ashamed to get your tan out of the bottle. Avoiding sunlight will prevent signs of aging and protect you from skin cancer.

Keep your skin well moisturized by applying lotion liberally every time you get out of the shower or bath.  The moisture that seeps into your skin during baths and showers is lost quickly if not sealed in with a good moisturizer.  A good rule of thumb is to put on lotion within 5 minutes of drying off.

Make sure your skin stays moist at all times. If your skin starts to dry out, use some moisturizer or lotion to help bring it back to life. Dry skin can be damaging  and can leave your skin looking scarred. Drinking plenty of water can also help you keep your skin moist and healthy.

If you don't already have a moisturizing routine for your skin, make one. Even people with oily skin should moisturize daily to keep their skin as healthy as possible. People who already moisturize should be careful not to over moisturize. Applying moisturizer more than once a day is excessive, as well as, damaging to your skin.

One way to improve your skin is to drink plenty of water.  Water is the largest part of what makes us up our body at the cellular level; drinking lots of water will not only keep you hydrated, it will keep your cell walls nice and plump.  You can also freshen your complexion throughout the day with a micro-mist of water on your face.

To maintain healthy skin, be sure to exfoliate often.  This will ensure that the old and dead skin cells have been brushed away and you are left with new, bright looking skin.  This may be done via scrubbing with an abrasive material or via chemical means.  Be sure not to do this too much, however, because it may lead to redness of the skin.

Wear sunscreen! Too much sun exposure is detrimental to dry skin. It dries you out even more and this can cause break-outs. To stop this before it starts, use a high SPF, preferably, with a moisturizer built in. This will help prevent acne flare-ups and keep your skin looking healthy and fresh.

In order to have clearer, cleaner skin, you should exfoliate once every other day. This washes away the top layer of dead skin, making it look younger, tighter, and healthier. Do not exfoliate too much, though, because the top layer, or "horny layer" of skin helps keep your skin clean and healthy too. If you constantly remove the top layer of skin, it will become prone for blemishes, acne, and blackhead.

If you are prone to blemishes, acne and blackheads, take a serious look at a treatment that can help you conquer zits and give you back your skins vibrant look. Go to the Clear Pores official website today
